Senate Candidate Paul Sanford Endorsed by NFIB
09/07/2010

Republican State Senate nominee in District 7, Paul Sanford, today received the endorsement of the Alabama Office of the National Federation of Independent Business. The announcement was made by State Director Rosemary Elebash from the NFIB headquarters in Montgomery.

"Paul Sanford not only talks the talk for small business, he walks the walk. As a restaurant owner and NFIB member, Paul is dedicated to the principles of free enterprise. He has intimate knowledge of what it takes to meet a payroll, offer a quality product and protect the bottom line. NFIB is pleased to endorse his candidacy for the Alabama Senate," Ms. Elebash said.

"NFIB has been the voice of small business for as long as I can remember. Receiving the endorsement of the most well-respected advocate for small businesses in the country is a boost to our campaign to shake up the status quo in Montgomery, and I'm grateful," Mr. Sanford said.

Paul Sanford was elected to the Alabama Senate representing District 7 (City of Huntsville and part of Madison County) in a special election in June 2009. He has served for only one year in Montgomery where he is recognized as a no-nonsense state senator. He and his wife Danielle own and operate "little Paul’s Barbecue" in Huntsville and have two children, Chase and Ryan.
